Ours is this: too many people are facing mental health crises, navigating the foster care system, or walking through the hardest seasons of their lives with nowhere to turn and no resources to help them. The Open Arms Initiative Gala is our annual fundraising evening where community, compassion, and culture come together. Dressed in your best 90’s-inspired look, surrounded by incredible people, you’ll enjoy a beautifully plated dinner and a live performance from R&B legend Montell Jordan all while directly funding the services that change lives in our community.

Mental health challenges don't wait. Children in foster care don't get to pause their trauma while their family gets on a waitlist. And yet, cost remains one of the biggest barriers between people and the professional support they desperately need. Open Arms Initiative exists to close that gap. We provide mental health services, therapeutic foster care support, and pro bono (no-cost) care to individuals and families who couldn't otherwise afford it — no complex hoops, no income barriers. Just skilled, compassionate professionals showing up for people in their most vulnerable moments. When you attend this gala — or sponsor it — you are directly funding those services. You are the reason someone gets the call back. The reason a foster family doesn't navigate trauma alone. The reason a person in crisis finds a safe place to heal. That's not abstract.
